Who is eligible to join?
• Membership is open to Disability Employment Organisations;
- who wish to adopt a culture of continuous improvement
- are a not for profit organisation and registered as
a deductible gift recipient
with the Australian Taxation Office
- receives funding from Commonwealth and/or State Government
disability
and employment departments to provide services to people with disabilities
What
is required of me if I join?
• Members are asked to share with each other their skills,
practical applications, wisdom, perspectives, new ideas and experiences.
Why should I join?
• The open sharing of information allows members to gain insight
into what has already been achieved by other services and what could
be achieved by their own service if they tried a different approach.
• Access to the ‘Members Only’ section of the
website
• Access to an experienced network of mentors
• Access to Examples of Best Practice – no longer a
need to re-invent the wheel
• Access to Workshops tailored to our organisational needs
• Ability to request information from similar organisations
nationally
How do I join?
• A nominal annual Membership Fee of $100 plus GST is applicable
• To become a member, organisations are required to:
- Contact the project officer projectofficer@bestpractice.org.au
- verify their organisation meets the selection
criteria
- sign off the “Memorandum
of Understanding 2007”
- then return the signed MOU to the project
officer
- by fax (03) 5152 4605
- or mail to Project Officer, Best
Practice Partnership, C/- Noweyung Ltd, PO Box 453, Bairnsdale,
Vic, 3875.
- Once the application is successful member organisations
will be notified and sent an invoice for their membership fee
- when the membership fee has been paid organisations
will be notified of the website password by email. this is required
to access the ‘members only’ section’ of the
website
